- Commissions = per-contract fee x contracts x 12. For brokers charging $0 to close (tastytrade), half of contracts are assumed to be closing trades.
- Stock/ETF options only; index-option, exercise/assignment and broker-assisted fees are excluded.
- Reg/clearing fees shown only where the broker publishes a fixed per-contract figure (Robinhood $0.04, Public ORF+OCC $0.04, moomoo $0.0375); others 'not modeled'. Sell-side TAF/SEC fees excluded.
- Margin interest = balance x the broker's published rate for that balance tier, held all year (simple interest; IBKR uses Pro blended rates, Webull uses Standard, Tradier uses Lite plan). Robinhood Gold's $1,000 interest-free is not applied.
- Plan fees (Tradier Pro, Webull Premium, Robinhood Gold) are excluded.
